The River Flows in Her (inspired by) [GL]

Her rendition is not perfect. A masterpiece is hard to perfect after all.
I imagine her fingers caressing the ivory keys, playfully gliding across each note, and rest, and sigh.

It is beautiful, the river that flows in her. Running, but not in rage. Smooth but a bit clumsy. Alive and smiling. Soft and full. Perfect.

I imagine her smiling, eyes closed; breathing every movement, touching every sound, tasting every drop--of the river--of the endless river, that flows in her.

Author's Note:
I wrote this in 2014 after getting inspired by a piano cover of "River Flows in You" by Yiruma. I remember listening to it on YouTube while at work when an image of a woman playing it suddenly crossed my mind.
