Murakami's Blessing (journal entry)
I feel like writing a lot today. It is not a usual
thing when a lot of ideas come by.
Well, I just finished reading Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami, that's why. Reading his works make me want to write. It's like they're preparing the field to be plowed; energizing and blessing my mind with a little of the same power from which they were made of. I feel lucky; I have known the effect of Murakami's on me the moment I finished reading my first book of his: Norwegian Wood. Maybe it depends on the book though, or my current situation, on what kind, how long, and how much I could make right after the reading. But what I'm absolutely sure is that I will write. No matter what, that feeling of wanting to write something always comes.
