A Thank You for the Many Ideas Borne in the Shower

I thank the rain
the sea, the tears
the river by the hills.
I thank the storm
the surge, the falls
the waves hitting the walls.

I thank the tides
the low, the high
the slow ride to the sky.

I thank the flow
the dam, the well,
the ripples on the floor.
